The Village of Los Ranchos is completing a large improvement project on Fourth Street between Schulte Road to Ortega Road. The purpose of the project is to promote economic growth while upholding the vision and goals of land use as set forth in the 2020 Master Plan.
Sites Southwest was awarded the contract for RFP#2013-02 for Fourth Street Revitalization and Redesign Planning. Bohannan Huston was awarded the contract for RFP# 2013-03 for Topographical and Right-of Way Survey of Fourth Street from Schlulte Road North to Oretga Road on February 12, 2014. Through the implementation of fiscally conservative policies, the Village has committed over $1 million dollars to the project from the General Revenue Fund. In 2013, the Village received a grant from the New Mexico Department of Transportation in the amount of $681,000.
