The Village is served by Albuquerque Public Schools (APS). There are two middle schools located in the Village - Taft Middle School and Taylor Middle School.  There is also one elementary school in the Village - Los Ranchos Elementary.

In addition, Alameda and Alvarado elementary school serve the area as well as Cibola High School, Valley High School, and Del Norte High School.

Taft Middle School and Valley High School are side-by-side program sites. Valley High School, which serves the majority of the area, is home to the Valley Academy, a cooperative program designed to increase the percentage of its graduates that go on to colleges and universities. Valley was one of the first schools in the nation to adopt this program.  Visit the Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) website for more information on area schools.

In addition to these APS schools, Los Ranchos is home to the North Valley Academy, Sandia Preparatory School, Victory Christian School,  and Cottonwood Classical Preparatory School.  The Bosque School also serves the Los Ranchos area.
